The Management of Technology (MOT) Program, established in 1989 at the University of California, Berkeley, is the most popular interdisciplinary program at UC Berkeley, with classes and fellowship programs made up of Masters and PhD students. An associated MOT Certificate Program allows most graduate students to specialize in the Management of Technology as they obtain their degrees.
The Management of Technology (MOT) Program supports a multi-disciplinary approach to innovation, management and technology. MOT classes are open to UC Berkeley graduate level students from all disciplines. MOT provides UC Berkeley students with a unique set of opportunities to develop their skills at working in multi-disciplinary teams on complex and interesting problems, and thus build their portfolios as they enter the job market
